Hi, quick question. So I don't have any preferences, I went to the interview last year November. I haven't received anything. I called last week, asked about the progress of my case they told me mines is taking longer bc I don't have preferences. Anyways, the question is, I just received an offer to work for the city of New York. I know that is preferences, but do I still qualify for it if I already went to the interview, and after is that I get a city job? Do you think my case would be put under the preferences pile, instead of the non preferences?? And if not, bc everything change, do I get disqualified?
I would assume that it doesn't boost you to preference Because when you applied you didn't have any but don't even stress that because now that you a city worker you have preference on all the application
What kind of department are you going to work for if u don't mind me asking?
Off topic: this whole waiting thing sucks it really has slowed me down , I haven't applied to any better working opportunity in fear that it will mark me off the income range

You could either download credit karma or capital one. Each has a credit tracker that tells you if a hard inquiry has been done on your credit. It tells you from where, like it would say prestige management if they have done a credit check from the Livonia commons.
I called and she said once the interview is over they put everyone in number order and go from there.
I have a high log number. I don't think I will be picked. SadFACE.
