Thanks, and you practically have one foot in the doors to your new apartment. Let us know what they say when they contact you again.

To my surprise on 2/18/16 they checked my credit and faxed the employment verification form to my job. On 2/19/16 I got a phone call telling me I qualify for a 2 bedroom and I had to go to prestige to drop off my W2 form for 2014 and to sign some more documents. Once I was done I was told everything will be sent to 2 tax credit agencies and if everything is ok I'd need to have one months rent and one month security and they're starting move ins the first week of March. I am beyond excited, but the anxiety is driving me insane!!!!
what they mean by tax credit agency?

Wow! Congrats. I went on the 11th too but I haven't heard anything or seen any credit checks yet. They told me three months I should hear something.

These are tax credit apartments, in which the developers or owners receive income tax credits for renting. So I'm assuming the tax credit agencies would just have to verify that they qualify for that credit if they rent that apartment to me.

Thank you! I'm still shocked I heard back from them so fast, they didn't even give me an exact time frame when I went on the 11th, the woman only told me it may be a while because the buildings weren't ready.

The lady told me not to even call cause if I did they would just tell me it was processing. I'm hoping something happens soon cause I have two preferences.
