All of you CBers who got waitlisted... I guess it's possible that you were screwed over by the fact that 50% of all CB units are being set aside for homeless referrals now...
I have not heard a word since my first intake in December. I have a lottery number of 8XX and City employee preference. My income is also on the mid-higher end.
They probably haven't reviewed applications for your income bracket yet.
I was told I wasn't waitlisted or rejected and needed to wait for them to call me in to sign an income verification form or something like that. So more waiting, 2-10 months.
I got waitlisted, too. The email gets automatically added to the "promotions" tab, which I check less often, but I received my waitlist email at the same time as seemingly everyone else. 3XXX log number, CB preference, I think I am in the second income band. There are nearly 50 units I could have qualified for. Ugh, this sucks.
So basically there has been a HUGE rush of middle income (lower middle income really!) to get these few slots. This is rough. who will care about future lotteries? I don't now.
Wow just noticed They had 4 different COmmunity boards getting preference for this one .. That could explain why people with low logs + CB pref got wait listed
The snow on Thurs cancelled my appointment. The next available was for next thurs, so i won't see it until then. In the meantime I've had a number of back and forths with HDC having to provide more clarifications on my income. Tense times. Anyone else see an apartment yet?
