Being closer to the 4 train is also good, so I have 3 express options of getting home. Walking distance from the mall is also fantastic.

I won't be in 60% for much longer, so I'd rather nab something I'd be truly happy in for about 10 years, then put that down payment on a condo. I would buy earlier, but I'm a little nervous about such a commitment since it's not as easy as "apply for another lottery" or "just move."

It's been a long term goal for a while. By 30 I should have enough for a 20% down payment on a condo in Parkchester if the prices stay low, but I'm not sure if I want to bite the bullet that fast (only 2 years from now), and besides, prices aren't guaranteed to stay low since lots of people being priced out of Brooklyn and Manhattan are buying-in. Read many threads about people tired of paying gold nuggets for "shoeboxes."

Anyway, I hope everything works out for you.

Ughhhhhhh... adulthood. What I'd give to be a kid again!
yeah same here
i won't be in 100 to 120AMI in 2 years

I really hope you win your appeal, dude. You've been through enough grief. Stay on top of that!

This is the first one shown to me on the 12th floor. I didn’t take it because there was a crack in the wall. Which was repaired, but still. Nope.

This is what I’m talkin about. Nope.
