I have been approved for the SONYMA Acheiving the Dream loan- I'm very excited about these super-low interest rates! Still waiting for the appraisal though, I hope my results turn out ad good as all of yours. Does anyone know what approximate move-in dates we are looking at right now? Last I heard from Eleanor a few weeks ago was "sometime in June"... I just can't wait to get in there, and to meet all of you fine folks in the flesh
Just found the above youtube clip which is from a series about Via Verde at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at Columbia University . It is just about two hours long, skip the opening remarks. I am at the first speaker, about 17:30-18 mins in... very informative so far.
Here is some beautiful pictures and article on Via Verde from a student getting a Tour of the complex. Lots of pics usually not seen.
Thank you so much for this. I really enjoyed the pictures especially since I haven't done a walk through since Decemeber (have just driven pass it and see it everyday from the train when heading to work)
I played softball on that field when I was in high school (didn't go to that school though, just played against them)
@JBronxite The BIGGER question is were you any good at softball. I was by there a week ago and seen some of the courtyard with grass. Now the trees on the roof and gardens have been planted and blooming and you can see some from the street. They have put the Trees in the PLAZA in a planter at the north side of the outside project cor Brook and 156th street.
Week 4 of waiting for city approval but I heard through the grapevine that the building is a week away from being completed?
Guess move in will happen sometime in early May!!
