No report of list movement since April 2020. No response when I emailed a person listed on my lottery paperwork. Does anyone know how to get updates?

Find out who manages the property and give them a call.

Metro Management is the managing agent for Riverside Terrace. We have been on the waiting list list for over 5 years. When we signed up they said it was a 3 to 5 wait for a one bedroom. ML Connect shows no movement in months so it is a typical but rather discouraging state of affairs.

I reached both Metro and River Terrace today by phone (felt like winning a lottery just to get through!) Here's the low down - River Terrace has had some internal movement this year but that has not affected the external wait list. Keep checking the MLConnect status because numbers may jump relatively quickly if they reach people who are not interested or not able to move at this time. However, they are now estimating 5-7 years since fewer people are moving out.

Thanks for the low down Sunny. We are resigned to a longer wait than we were originally led to expect when we received our log number (3 to 5 years)! It is a bit suspicious that there is no movement with apartments when so many people are leaving the city. Evidently not ML residents. LOL!

Objectively, ML's are only really good value if you stay for life. Compared to investing in normal co-ops, condos, houses, you aren't going to profit from it (since you only get back what you put in).

Makes sense people aren't leaving in a pandemic unless if its absolutely necessary. It does suck tho, thats NYC for ya.
