I dont have CB preference. My log number is low 80's. Was called for an interview the beginning of the month. She said when she gets to my number which is after CB she would need updated stubs and bank statements and then process approvals.

Wish everyone the best of luck. Please share your progress.

Hey ya’ll.

Log 3xx here. I was asked by my agent for up to date paperwork. Interview was 2 weeks ago.

This past Friday my agent let it be known that she will be turning in my paper work to BG compliance and if everything is crystal it’ll go to HPD compliance.

Happy to answer any questions anyone may have, but please if you any have any insight answer the following....

If our application is on its way to management (Breaking Ground) compliance does that mean an apartment is already assigned to you? I’m aware that before it goes to HPD some paperwork is required to be signed which details your potential unit on top of the sheet, but right now I’m just trying to figure out where I stand. I’m in limbo trying to confirm if there’s an apartment with our name on it given compliance goes according to plan.

60% income. Going for a 2 BR.

Adding on...

This is my 2nd lottery within a calendar year. First was at 60 Fulton handled by housing partnership. Long story less long the apartments were filled before my log number was reached (2x general pop).

Housing partnership didn’t get back to me till 5 months after my initial interview. Horrible.

Anywho. This whole process is such a drain. Emotional rollercoaster to say the least. I wish you all a speedy process for those already in the ringer.

Once BR compliance will be cleared you'll be called to go to sign the paperwork, and you will see in the paperwork which unit it will be assigned to you.
You will know that HPD has cleared your application when you'll receive a request for an appointment to go see the unit.
Shortly after you'll be called to sign the lease. Be ready with the prorated rent + 1 month, the deposit and (if you want them), the amenities certified checks.

Hi there I recently was selected for an interview I fall under a low income SSI housing subsidy preference,I'm new at this I really ignorant to this whole process I wish someone could help me with information,I had my doctor fill out a form to set aside unit because of my hearing disability, also I'm currently in a shelter with dhs,and I have a housing specialist who is assigned to my case to assure that I get all paper work done, well the management office recently asked me for a document from social security to show proof o how I receive my SSI benefits when I get document and give it to my housing specialist to emaim to management office she doesn't do it on time and because of 5 day delay my application was rejected, now I explained to lady in management office that my housing specialist is totally incompetent and literally begged her not to reject my application well I asked if I can just bring her the requested documents in person, she said yes and assured me that I was ok, I just pray that I really am ok and that I can get apartment,if anyone has any information for and can tell more about this process please do I'll be checking this forum,I just want to know if I still have a chance to get apartment, thank you

@pepperony
So they want prorated rent + one month +security?
Or do they want prorated + security?

For example, if the rent for the unit let's say is $1000/mo and you moved in the middle of the month,
Do they want prorated $500+ 1 mo $1000+ 1 mo security $1000, or
do they want prorated $500+ security$1000? Pls clarify.

Yes. Stay on top of the paperwork as best you can. Cut the "specialist" out of the process if it's possible, since they're obviously not reliable. If you need to rely on them, call/email (I'm not sure what works for you) the management office every time to make sure they got what you gave them.

Good luck!

Just curious. How much are amenities per month?

And is there a discounted rate for families?
