I can literally see them not being able to fill those apartments .... it’s been hard to fill anything above 120 for alvista I can only imagine here ... I wonder what will end up happening
I know someone who got into Alvista, and they concour they haven't been able to get many if any higher income tenants. I'm afraid these buildings will go full blown section 8 in 5-10 years time.
Just wanted to update you guys. I got the word from my leasing agent that i am approved for an apartment. It's been 6 LONG months but I am super excited. I'll see the unit tomorrow morning and I will sign the lease and obtain the keys on Friday morning!!!!
CONGRATS!! I am due to go Monday for lease and keys
Was apparently on a waiting list for 9yrs and forgot all about it and been living happily in a large 1br by the Apollo in harlem for 1.5yrs. Can’t complain one bit
Wow 9 years?
Which development is this for? Central Harlem apartments?
I moved into a fancy building via the lottery. I've been enjoying it a lot. Love having a gym, nice common spaces, and a doorman. Wayyyy better than my previous Chinatown apartment and just like $100 more per month. I'm in the higher AMI category. I feel like staff treats me very well and are extremely responsive. I feel like I'm treated the same as the other tenants. The tenants skew young and rich and seem to be on their phones a lot (like when in the elevator and stuff). Anyway, I've had a positive experience overall and recommend you win a lottery, too.
The lottery experience is quite stressful but I'm really happy I'm was able to get selected
OMG yay
I'm not ready to move in yet but I'm super stoked lol
Lol I’m also not ready either .. still trying to gather up my down payment since it was very sudden but I need this and want it oh so badly !!
