I'm also in the 50s on the 1BR list and haven't been contacted, I've been wondering the same thing.

This is reassuring to hear.

My understanding is that the viewing invitation is MAILED by snail mail. so you need to have the most updated address on file with PS.

When you see an apartment and indicate that you will take it if offered, but then, when it's offered, turn it down--does that count as one refusal or are you taken off the list entirely?

You know, that is a mystery, and something we wondered about also.

You are allowed to turn one down. So I highly doubt they will take you off the list.

But if you are in this situation, so ahead and ask the person in the office assigned to you. That's the only way to get an official answer. And of course, let us know!

I'm in the same position and haven't heard anything, not even a prescreening. All of my info is up to date etc.
It seems somewhat questionable why some people in 1xx have been contacted and all offered an apartment.
Just sayin.

That was last year, when my daughter was called, January 2022. Since then PS has been making an effort to "clean up" the list to get inactive people off it. I believe that's why you now have to get closer to No. 1 to be called. All the people in front of you who weren't really interested have been purged. Just my opinion.

It looks like for the 2019 1 bedroom list, they are contacting up to the 370s already. Those prior active numbers are either 2014 (and might be grandfathered from having to go on hold), in process or viewing-purchasing-declining, not yet purged, or not marked as inactive yet.

Active position, Lottery Number
21 2019-348-N Active
22 2019-378-N Active
23 2019-389-N Active
24 2019-392-N Active
25 2019-393-N Active
26 2019-395-N Active
27 2019-399-N Active

I'm also in 4x active position. If you click 'Show on hold applicants' you can guess how far PS reached out.

I also have a question, when they call you to view the apartments, did they send an email, mail, or both?

Any info on the gym and woodworking club would be helpful.
Thanks so much!
Hey there roses1212! The gym is $12.50/month for the first member of the household and $10.75 for each additional member. Woodworking club is $70.00 annually. Hope this helps

Hi mollybloom and Pythian,

I did get the offer:-) It's a 2bedroom on the 3rd floor of the balcony line- so, sadly, no balcony, but 2 big windows in the living room- so much better than the previous apartment offered and turned down. The mortgage process is ongoing- taking longer than I anticipated and have to keep nudging them. I went with ABEFCU.

I will update once all is finalized!
