I assume I have CB preference, since I currently live in CB No. 3 (same as development’s), but I don’t see anywhere that I have preference. Folks that have CB preference, where did you see that you did?

Also, my log No. is in the low 4xxx - really, really hoping for the best.

You dont see it, the management company notes it on their end. If in doubt though, make sure to call them and ask. I asked if they could tell me what log# they were currently on, and she said she didn't know but that they were processing low log#s. Mine is 12xx and I'm super hopeful. Have faith!

The same email address of the "manager" who reached out to you to submit your paperwork.

Hi everyone, I'm not up for this building but I did accept an apartment with ResideNY and will be moving soon so just want to provide any insight. For those wondering, it took them almost three months to contact me for further processing after I initially submitted documents in March. I was contacted the beginning of this month and from there, the process moved very quickly.

I was asked to submit additional pay stubs, 6 months worth of checking and savings statements, cash app statements, and I had to sign and scan some documents back as well as get two documents notarized. I was approved in two days from HPD. So they will probably be reaching out next month and in August if you are selected for further processing. Have your pay stubs, bank statements, cash app or venmo statements (whatever you use) ready to go, and be ready to have documents notarized (UPS notarizes $4 per document and of course there is always the library if it's open). The quicker you send everything in, the quicker it gets sent to HPD and the quicker you get approved.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Thank you so much for posting this. Honestly, in the moment, it is so hard to remember that these things take time. The house we currently live at, is being put on the market next month. I think for me, that's part of the urgency. I keep telling myself log#12XX with CB preference is STILL a good spot to be in. Be patient...thank you for the reminder!

Have a wonderful day!
