I don't think it'll take too much longer, because the marketing representative told me that she wanted to submit my paperwork to HPD by 08/20 so I needed to have everything notarized and returned by then in order to proceed. I'm assuming that the rest of the selected CB applicants would have a similar deadline, but i could be wrong..

Hi Shawn B,

Sounds like you are in- congrats!! is that too premature?

Marketing Rep? who would that be? is that the person who initially emailed us?
I called resideny and they just told me my application was still pending.

Hi dkel,

Thank you!! I'm really hoping everything goes smoothly. I contacted the "owner/manager" (who initially emailed us) I sent her an email requesting a status update and I asked if any additional info was needed.. She responded and told me that my app was still pending. The next day I was contacted by a "marketing specialist" who asked for additional info and sent me the paperwork that needed to be signed/notarized and returned..

I'm still confused because i never actually got "the call" that I hear everyone speak of; it was more like, "hey, we're sending ur docs to HPD" lol.. i guess maybe when/if its approved by HPD then ill get the call?

I walked passed the building on Saturday and it seems to be just about complete.. i wish they had floor plans or interior photos available though.. Would it hurt if I asked them if there's an eta as to when they'll allow tenants to move in?

Hey there,

Im not too sure. From what Ive heard from folks, once the file hits HPD, the ball pretty much begins to roll on its own and FAST.

How’s the process moving along for y’all? I just got my further processing email so I’m ecstatic! Any thoughts on how long it will take from here?

Thats awesome!! wishing you the best of luck! I believe my documents were sent to HPD last week so I'm still waiting to hear if they approved or not. I contacted the property manager to see if there was any sort of date or timeframe as to when they'll allow the selected tenants to move in or view the apartments and she indicated that the building owners are still working on obtaining the C/O. Not sure how long that takes but I'm hoping I'll be able to at least view the place soon lol. Ideally, it would be awesome if we could move in sometime in Sept or early Oct the latest.

Its the certificate of occupancy, i think the building owners will need to get it from the city to allow tenants to move in.. I'm assuming it involves some sort of inspection but I'm not sure..
