This happened after you sent the documents from the first email or after you got everything notorized etc
I was asked to submit everything within 5 days, which I did. Then I was asked to provide additional notarized docs. Once I submitted all my docs, I was told my file is completed and my application has been waitlisted
After which step were you asked to view an apartment???, i was originally contacted 08/04/2021 submitted all documents the same day . Then august 12 i was asked to fill out interview package and notorize some documents . Does that mean I’m being considered or is it a chance I’ll still be waitlisted ??
If you're filling out an interview package, maybe you're being considered. I did all the notarized docs and didnt fill out that interview package. Good luck
I contacted the agency today to get a updated on my application. I was originally contacted 8/4 submitted my documents that same day . Then 8/12 got the 5 day notice letter which i submitted the same day. This was the email response i got today
Currently your application is still in process. You will have to bear with us and give us some time to review. We apologize for the inconvenience. Also, please note that this in no way guarantees an apartment and since it is a process that may take a sometime, You may feel free to keep your options open

I hope you hear something soon! I was actually contacted today to set up a viewing of a 2 bdrm. They sent my file off to HPD or HDC, whichever they're working with, so even if I go view it, it's not a guarantee that I'm in there because my file is still pending with the agency. I think they should do the showings after the file is approved so that if someone loves it, there's no chance of disappointing them later. If I go to the viewing, I'll try to take pics for the board!
I was contacted yesterday to submit documents. I don't know if I'll do it because getting some of the docs is a pain and the commute isn't ideal. Log 6xx no preferences.

I was thinking the same thing about the commute. Closest transportation options are the 2 and 5 trains at the West Farms/Tremont stop. My job is closer to the 1 and A/D lines, so that means taking the 2 and transferring to the 1 while I'm already annoyed at having to go back to commuting. Will let everyone know how far the walk is from the train to the building on Friday
I saw a two bedroom today now just waiting for hpd
Awwww congrats! Next up signing the lease if approved!
