I can pm you all the data points you’re asking for but I’m concerned that your analysis won’t actually help with transparency because of a few variables. ie DHS referrals that don’t have a log # but can be inserted in any of the preferences they qualify for. Individuals who have rental vouchers that bypass AMI’s and minimum incomes. (they have a better chance of being selected as long as their voucher covers the rent). There’s another refferal that bypasses log numbers and takes a spot from preferences due to governmental displacement but I don’t know how common that is.
Thank you so much for the insight! I definitely need to take this into consideration.
Love this! I can't wait to see the finished product. Already I'm seeing people which much higher log numbers that have been contacted (specifically for 187.......) wondering how this happens as they don't all specify a PREF on your spread sheet.
I have joined @Posthomealone in the log processing research. Thank you all thus far for providing your lottery information. We have updated the spreadsheet, you can view it using the link(s) below. Please let us know what you think so far! We wanted to share this on this thread first. If you have any information you would like to provide, please send either of us a DM or post on this thread. Of course, this is not 100% reliable, but we do believe it gives a general idea of the log processing numbers.
I was contacted by reside ny
187 Kent submitted documents on 09/01/2020 log # 7xxx they said they haven’t reached my log number
2175 Bergen st submitted documents on 09/01/2020 log # 5xxx called last week there was 2 apartments left at that location they hadn’t reached my log # and the agent for that development went on maternity leave this week .
it's so interesting all the variables that play in to being selected or called back. I really don't think log numbers matter. I knew a girl who was called back and moved in and had no preference and I high log number. so here are mine below
1. Ebenezer plaza phase 1 south, log #17**, mobility disability preference, 30% ami, contacted and submitted documents
2. fountain seaview a2, log # 9***, mobility disability preference, 30% ami, contacted, submitted documents, documents submitted to the city for approval and waiting for approva
