We are on the list too and passed the 5 year mark for the one bedroom. Haven't hear a peep from them though. Maybe the pandemic is to blame but no one knows for sure.

That definitely does not sound right. I encourage you both to contact them stat and even involve HPD if you have to. If people on the one bed list have gotten in before you with a shorter wait (and were on the list for less time) then you should be proactive and ask for help. That's not right!
Someone on this thread said they got called after 5 years, and another after 4. If these people got on the list after you, then you definitely were skipped over!! Call them.
Hey. I would try the main company. Metro Management. I'm not sure, but it could be helpful.
The management at River Terrace isn't helpful at all when it comes to finding out your spot. Maybe, they aren't supposed to give out that info, but who knows.
I just posted an idea on 2 specific ML threads...maybe I can start a new thread...What do people think about getting ML Co-op waiting list folks together to share a large apartment/house (rental) as needed - to save $$$ for when our chance to buy comes up? We could start a tradition...yes? no? maybe?
Dear Ungugu you state that you are on a wait list for RT for over 8 years. Was that for a one, two or three bedroom apt? I know veterans receive first preference but 8 years seems a bit much. Why do they keep their wait lists open when the list is already eight years long?
