Just discovered it yesterday. The website for the building's main page is not valid,...I usually like to see what the building and apartments look like in more detail.
I'm at a very weird spot with the income requirements. Like because of a second job last year, I was just over, but this year I should be just under. I plan to get the specifics from my last six checks and try to move forward with it.
I have severe arthritis in both knees, so to be able to swim regularly (although probably post-Covid, if there ever will be such a thing) would be sooooo helpful to me. Didn't want to necessarily live in Manhattan, but we shall see.
The rent is great, as well as having access to a pool. The not so great would be the location, it’s a busy tourist area. And unless you get an apartment facing the front of the building, you’ll only have views of the building next door based on the pics on the housing connect site.

This is everything I’m feeling in regards to this building.
I also don’t like the fact that heat is electric that’s a year around extremely high bill. Electric in summer is usually $300 bcuz of air conditioners and heat by electricity is gonna be a $300 bill.
My apartment is all electric everything - 3br/2ba. Working and kids home school...surprisingly coned bill has been only 170-180 per month. Nov to Feb. Summer will probably be more.
Yeah, if I lived in that area, I'd probably end up murdering a tourist before long. But not if I enjoyed the low maintenance fees of Penn South, at which point I could never be bothered again.
