Three weeks ago I submitted everything. Documents, Head of Household Doc, and Interview Checklist. I emailed them a week ago for an update. I was told that it's now just waiting for your number to come up. Since mine is in the 32xxx's I'm not going to hold my breath. But I am a NYC employee and I live in the same CB, so I assume I'll have priority over general population. There are three buildings that have to be occupied and I know they wanted to fill one or two of those building by end of 2022. So even if they reach out to you and you submit all necessary paperwork, there's still no guarantee. But you always have a chance. Good luck.
Has anyone received any updates who have CB preference. I am log 12xxx and I have been trying to reach out since July. I have sent 4+ emails and I never get a response. I sent in my documents in June and still have not heard back!
I just received another email yesterday asking for the same documents I sent before and new documents to have my taxes released, and other forms. I also had to write down all deposits for all accounts and get it notarized in one day. I work as a teacher and this is process is insane. I had to sign 24 documents and upload them. Then I had to send about 15 additional docs. I think I've sent over 75 documents. At least that's what it feels like. I already had my interview. So I don't know what to expect now. I'm assuming this was the step to get NY to review my file. My number is 32xxx. I have CB preference and NYC employee.
I hope there isn't a difference in AMI. Wouldn't that be considered discrimination based on income?
I ask bc I know only some units have walk in closets and not sure id thats ami based or not also layouts could differ
