Credit Check Q (rental, payments, history)

Hi! I entered the lottery with my spouse. I have a couple questions about the credit check process.


Do they check both of our credits?
I know we can use rental payments history instead of having a credit check, but does that count for both of us, or just the person whose account the payments are drawn from?

Do not do the credit check if you don’t have to. My husband and I chose the rent history option. Just email your management for the last 12 months of payments showing paid in full and on time. You’ll be fine.

Edited to answer the other part of your question…. It doesn’t matter whose account it is Drawn from. Our rent is drawn from my account. We actually don’t have a joint account.
