Good evening I am getting a pretty low log# (less than #100) for a project unit so I am really excited about it. But I am wondering if we need to pay a HOA fee besides the rent when living in those apartment? And what about utility fees? Anybody who have insight about it please share. Thank you so much!!

If it's a rental unit - the only thing you will have to pay is your rent + any utilities not covered (typically electric in NYC). If your building has amenities (fitness center/playroom/etc.) you may have to pay a monthly "amenities" fee - but that varies building by building.

When your number gets called you can ask the managing agent if there are any amenity fees/etc.

HOA? I think you mean amenities fee (gym, roof access, etc) yes, it’s in addition to the rent but it is optional, though you can’t pick and choose which ones you want.
Every development is different. My building uses gas for cooking and is included in the rent however, some buildings uses electricity for cooking, water etc and is the responsibility of the tenant. Hope this helps!

Nah, the reason I am asking is because many of the condo-like apartment has this HOA fee paid to the developer/building, it's like a maintenance fee I guess.

You pay maintenance fee if you own the unit. If you are a renter, you don't pay any maintenance fee.

"you may have to pay a monthly "amenities" fee "

Just to be clear, the amenities fee is generally optional. If you don't want to use the building amenities (gym, etc.), you can usually opt out.
