Which building is this for? 2450$ for a studio with a 60 ami sounds odd.
There are reasonable/affordable rent opportunities you just have to wait and have some luck.
Lotteries are definitely not for anyone needing something immediately.

One weird thing I noticed in regards to amenities, it says “* Amenities may not be available to all residents.” Usually there’s just a note about how there’s an extra fee for the amenities, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen where it says they just aren’t available. I wonder if it means they’re only accessible to residents of one building but not the other? But then it still seems odd some amenities are shared but not others? Oh well, guess we’ll find out later!

I'm guessing it means that there's not enough parking spaces and storage spaces for all tenants.

Or maybe there are separate amenities in each tower. Whatever it is, it sounds bad said that way. Like if having apartments with cheaper appliances and finishes wasn’t enough, now there are some amenities you might not have access to

I'm in between 120% & 165% AMIs, I was interested to apply this lottery with aiming a 1BR unit. I'm willing to pay $2442 (125% AMI) but if I'm offered the 130% price - $2838/mo for 1BR apartment... I'd rather stay put at my current 600 sqft alcove studio in Midtown East with less than $2K per-month, I can live without any partition!!

Good luck to those who apply!!!

How is that feasible, I really like these building but I feel like that’s not practical - maybe if you’re playing the long game it is; yet there are RS apartments at much lower price points that aren’t lottery buildings.

600 sqft sounds pretty good for a studio. Unless you’re dying to move out of Manhattan, I would stay

Nah, I'm good! I consider myself lucky & blessed to win this 600 sqft alcove studio in Manhattan, it's walking distance from my workplace too so it's perfect. Not to mention the apartment building is brand new & one of the most luxurious buildings with plenty amenities that residents could ask for! However, I somehow have been trying to weighing whether or not I should apply to get a 1BR unit but I'm afraid none of the current lottery apartments offerings matched up to the apartment building where I live at in terms of location, amenities, & the rent price! So yeah, I will stay put...

If all residents can access the amenities, I bet the fee will be ridiculously pricey. See if the one who manages the amenities is Life Time, I wish all residents good luck with $200+++/mo amenities fee!

Besides G & L trains, you can take train 7 get off Vernon Blvd-Jackson Av then take bus B32 get off Franklin St/Green St. it takes only 3 mins walk from there to the apartment, total about 35 mins to/from Manhattan, not bad.
