Seems much better value than paying $800 for one random pool in astoria (no offense to Astoria)
Yeah honestly soho house sounds better than these deals for luxury buildings!

Update on this. Not sure if anyone ever checked their FAQs since then, but I just found they've removed the numbers from the amenities fee list and replaced the line with "After the first lease year there is a small cost for general amenities access. Please follow up with us for details. This price is subject to change."

LOL I guess someone from the management team was spying on the forum or something haha.

Good eye! And that's actually pretty impressive if someone from management really was paying attention to this forum and actually changed a policy as a result - especially when it involves lowly lottery tenants' opinions, haha. But truly, even looking at the various prices listed per amenity was stressing me out! Having one set price for everything certainly makes paying for amenities much more tolerable, in my opinion.

HAHA sorry, dear management team! I've already seen the numbers and thought to myself that 'a small cost' could be $75/month, still Nice try!

True, although I could tolerate $75/month that's inclusive of all amenities instead of trying to pick and choose which I can afford for the month and getting stressed out about it Anyway, lottery is closed now, so the waiting game begins... I hope they don't take forever. Did you wind up applying or decided no dice on this one?

Nope, I didn't apply to this. I LOVE the building and all its amenities but this is slightly over my budget. It's not 'affordable' to a single household lol I'd apply for this lottery if all amenities/utilities are included... Good luck!!

Thanks! And I totally get your point. I'm on the lower-mid end of the salary range, so it certainly won't be easy for me to afford, but I can make it work. The proximity to the ferry is EVERYTHING to me, so I've got my fingers crossed!

Wait... didn't they offer free access to some of the amenities listed above for the first 1 year? Since I've seen they changed words three times already and I guess I need to avoid this management. Thanks for the update! This is good to know although I didn't apply for this housing.
