Has anyone been contacted for a lottery, returned forms, then when calling for a status be told they do not have any of the size unit available for you? I can be placed in a 1 or 2 bedroom I would prefer a 2 bedroom my TIC was completed with 2 bedrooms on it but no unit number was on it. The agent did ask if I was interested in a 1 bedroom. I am not. So just wanting to know has this happened to anyone and they finally were contacted about the size apt they requested after waiting? Any one sign a lease?

This happened to me late last year. I submitted initial docs and was contacted a few days later saying they only had studios. I said i only wanted a 1br and so I stayed on the list and they contacted me about 2 weeks later offering a 1br which I viewed and ultimately declined due to size and the building location but I would've been offered a lease if I had wanted the 1br I was ultimately offered.
