I agree with once a week. That's what I did. It means if they need something and haven't notified you yet, you get that much ahead of the game. Also, they are more likely to "remember" the ones that check in AND send them what they ask for quickly.

My log number is 9xxx and received my email for docs on April 18th so its been a month. I have medium hopes I hear soon that the initial review is completed. May call or email tomorrow to see if theres an update. Last week she said just check connect, my email and phone.

Connect still says under review but has said that since I submitted everything the April 19th so I dont trust that status

Yeah, I'd still email or call. They don't typically update HC unless they need something from you. If you just want to know the status, the only way is usually to contact them directly.

So basically they dont review anything until AFTER your deadline? even if you submitted docs prior to it?
