Let me start by stating that I LOVE Housing Connect 2.0. It is a great way for people to find and apply for affordable housing. I'm on it every day and I truly I love it. However, there are some shortcomings on the site that could easily be fixed to make the user experience easier and help to avoid missed listing opportunities. Here are a few of my suggestions, please post with your own...
1) Offer "List View" and "Gallery View" for the home page listings so users don't need to click through 5 or 6 pages see all listings. Future versions should also have a "Map View" but this is asking a lot.
2) Offer "Sort by Posting Date" in both List and Gallery views so users can easily tell which postings are new.
3) When users are logged in, each posting should indicate if the user has "applied" to the listing so the the user doesn't need to click the listing and scroll through to see if they have applied - this is especially helpful to those of us (me) with very short memory span.
4) If there is a CB preference for the listing, indicate which CB it is.
