Any updates?

Has anyone heard anything about this building? This post hasn't been updated for a while and I'm curious to get any info on where they are at. Did anyone get else paperwork, a viewing, an offer?

I got called in and went to view the studio, which they said was the only apt available. It was TINY, maybe 250 sq ft. No way, my place now is twice that. Also for $2200, it’s ridiculous, I’m at 130% AMI. I was shown a one bedroom that’s still up for grabs and that one is beautiful. Would take it in a heartbeat for $2300. But, I’m pretty sure someone below my 1XX log will get it. Good for them. I’ve moved on from this building.

Man, that sucks. Did it look anything like this studio pictured on one of their ads:

Did you happen to take any pictures? I'm still in the running for this one and really curious. What do you mean by tiny? Like, the bed would take up the entire living room tiny? Or just not worth the price tiny?

I thought all the one bedrooms were taken?

Did not take any pics. But a queen size would take almost half of the living area. SMALL, not worth $2200 even if the location is great.

I saw that ad and was expecting it to look like that, but no. Completely different, awful layout. The agent showed me the 1br that hadn’t been taken but I’m sure it’s in the process of being taken.

My long number is on the teens and I just got asked to submit the docs today. Fingers crossed. I passed by the building this weekend and the location is unbelievable, close to everything in Williamsburg.

That's super disappointing. From the outside, that building looks so nice. I was drooling over the ad for the studio because it looked like it had a little space for the bed and everything. Sigh.

I’m not. I emailed the agent this afternoon asking if it was for the one bedroom. She replied back saying the only apt. available was the studio so I withdrew my application as it is too small for my needs. Disappointing.

I walked by the building again today and could see into one of the apartments at the far right side on the second floor on Metropolitan. Looked like an empty studio. Looked SMALL! I wonder if that was the one you saw? It looked like the bed would go right next to the closet and the "living room" was basically the kitchen.

WHO designs these units thinking actual human beings should be LIVING in them? Man.
