"No deposits" means "no deposits to hold the apartment," etc. I've never seen an HC apartment that didn't ask for a security deposit with the lease. (Maybe supportive/former homeless units?)

I got approved and in the email it says to bring in 2 cashier's checks: 1 for the 1st month rent and 1 for security deposit. On the nycconnect site under lyra's details it says no deposits/ no application fees. Has anyone else been asked to bring in a security deposit?

Also they calculated my gross income initially including salary and stock trading profits. And later said they can't include stock trading. This reduced my apartment type options because of the reduction in gross income calculation. Does anyone have any insight into this?

Thanks in advance!
what was your log # and ami?
do you know what/how many units are left?

Does anyone else that lives here feel like there’s ALWAYS an issue when trying to use an amenity ? Front desk has said something or the other to me any time I have been in either the squash court, roof, gym. Not to mention. There’s SECURITY on the roof?? Making you feel extremely uncomfortable when you’re just sitting there with family. …….

Couldn’t give my mom and my sister a look at the gym because no guests allowed
(I was simply showing them)

They reminded me once that the game room closes at 11. Meanwhile I wasn’t even going inside the game room I was standing outside of it in the lower lobby.

Amongst other things. It’s really getting frustrating!

My issue is that they must stalk the cameras and then leave the front desk to personally go to wherever you are in the building. Embarrassing you in front of other tenants and your guests.

Log #8×× at 130% AMI and went through a lengthy appeals process which is why it took so long. They didn't mention that any sized apartment is taken up at 130% AMI. Wish I had more info for you.

My experience couldn't be further than that. They are always super nice and polite. I have never had an issue in showing my guests the GYM or other areas of the building. The security on the rooftop is annoying but it could be some regulation thing. And no children in the Squash Court is reasonable in my opinion.
