Whenever I read “no pets allowed” I think that the building’s managers think tenants are a bunch of pigs and trashy people who do not clean up after their pets. So no thank you!

Some of them don't, lol. In my past life at the Ashland, I had to make sure to check/wipe out each machine (of course avoided the ones that were like that) before using it because some of the nasties that had pets would leave them full of hair, clearly didn't clean up after themselves.
