I have the lease agreement in front of me but I'm hesitant to sign it now, might not lol....

522 sqft 1BR ~$2600 rent, $85 utilities allowance, and $75 amenities fee.

I'm not sure and I tried calling them to find out, looks like I'm paying extra since others stated 75. Anyone get this waived? Also they call it an allowance so it makes it sound like it should benefit me but it's a monthly fee?

Friendly Reminder - If everyone could take a moment to check they have updated their information that would be amazing. Best of luck to all!

Utilities allowance is the approx amount of what you're gonna pay for utilities i.e. electricity bill as you will have to pay it along with your rent to the building management, not directly to Coned.

However, it doesn't mean your building management will bill you exactly $85 every month, it will depend on your usage, it can be less, it can be more. For example, in my case, my utilities allowance was stated $63 at that time when I signed my TIC but in reality, my electricity bills have been mostly less than $63, there were a couple of times only $26!
