Has anyone recently signed a TIC and noticed how in part VI (Rent), there is a section that reads "gross rent for unit," which is the same amount you see on the lottery's flyer, but then below it, it reads, "Maximum Gross Rent Limit for this unit" and it contains a number that's much higher?
Does the much higher number mean that that's the maximum rent that a landlord can charge but in accordance to the rent increase guidelines put forth by the city, or does that mean that as soon as your lease is up, that the amount can go up that high?
The "Maximum Gross Rent Limit for this unit" in part VI (Rent) on my TIC was $0.00 & the Gross Rent was the initial rent price stated on the lottery.
Mine has a number that is literally $1000 higher! It may not be worth accepting but I will ask. If anyone else has any info about the differing numbers on their TICs feel free to post!
Whoahh!!! Let's just hope it was mistyped! But you should ask & clarify this to your marketing agent, make sure you get it in writing so if anything you can use that as your weapon.

Thanks for reading and answering!
I was able to check my TIC and yes the maximum gross limit is higher as well.
So I have one last document to submit and I believe my agent is sending it to HPD. She told me I had until Monday to submit the last documents saying the sooner I get it to her, the sooner she can submit my file. So I guess I should expect to see the TIC soon? How does it look? And where do I find it? Plus, I haven’t seen the unit yet.
