this block and area.. NOPE. trash. there were these ugly dark doo doo brown low rise buiildings prior to demolition, which im glad are gone. i wouldn't apply for these

Those rents for that area are laughable! The description says walking distance to Central Park....the lie detector determined that was a lie! lol maybe Morningside park... either way, way too pricey for the area.

I'm on Zillow. There are zero 1 bedrooms in that area market rate going for under 1,800. Everything is around $1,900-2,200 for a 1 bed there.

So my question is if this is supposed to be "affordable" (cheaper than market rate) why are the 1 bedrooms on housing connect MORE than what I'm seeing for market rate?
