Hi so I wanted to know how long do these management companies give you to submit first month plus security deposit

As soon as you sign the lease. Some management companies (the ones where all units are affordable) may set up a payment plan for you. But for luxury buildings with market rate tenants, they want the security deposit right away.

Ok that makes me more relaxed I was getting crazy eyed because I have one part I just need the deposit but because I’m about to get paid every 2 weeks with my new job. I’m like omg

I think you should verify first. Some may have plans but others do not.

I’ll ask them Thursday that i asked a coworker of mine who said the company he had only gave him a week which is insane to come up with the amount he needed

What kind of payment options are generally accepted by management companies in the industry? I was hoping to pay via online bank transfer or a check but the management company I'm dealing with is only taking money orders...

That’s what most accept money orders or going to your bank to get a certified check.

Why is it "insane"? That's how things work for everyone else including RS units not party of lottery process.

You pay first months rent and security deposit at lease signing usually by money order, cashiers' check, digital transfer.. Anything but a personal check.

I was told I would have 5 days after approval to pay deposit and security and another 5 to move in although honestly I hope the move in date is more of a key pick up bc I’m planning on moving in slowly

I’m guessing other places are different that I’m kinda hoping I have more time that I only have half right now that since I’m starting a new job and it pays every 2 weeks I’m hoping I have until Atlesst April to pay them
