Hi all, so I noticed a bunch of lotteries I applied to status on my dashboard changed to no units available. Does this mean I am completely out of the running for a unit? no wait list, no nothing?

At the present moment, for those particular developments, yes. As this typically means that the units they had available have now all been assigned. However, doesn't mean that in the future those units won't be made available as people move out etc.. But I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that to happen, only because oftentimes they won't happen for awhile, if at all (as people of course tend to hold onto these units), and if/when they do, it might be for a AMI that you're not even in.

I often get notified of buildings that have some units available, they just may not always be a building you had your eye on

Thank you for the response. I was just at least hoping to get a response to submit documentation so I can know what the process is like. Out of 100 lotteries I had one that was under 300 so I thought I had a chance but that chance came to an end when I saw it updated to no units available.

Sometimes a waitlist is kept. But also,
‘ Certain projects are required to go through Re-rentals and Resales after initial lease up or initial sale. Marketing Agents will use the Mini-Lottery process in Housing Connect or alternate remarketing procedures as approved by the appropriate Agency (HPD or HDC) to fill future affordable unit vacancies upon turnover. This is known as the “Re-rentals and Resales” process. ’

There is an option to opt into the Mini Lottery process in your profile on Housing Connect. This is a blanket out in, it’s not about any particular lottery you applied to.

Where can we sign up for mini lottery? I don’t see any option. Thanks
