How does this relate to NYC? Besides you forgot Westchester but I'm a Long Islander. I would pick its beautiful shores over any other suburb any day of the week.
I wouldn't want to live on LI,NJ or CT so I vote "none of the above"
If I had the money for a mansion it would be in NYC...either Manhattan or Riverdale( overlooking The Hudson and the Palisades)
If not in NYC then Westchester, but someplace close like Pelham or Bronxville.
I guess I could live in parts of Ct if I had to.
Why would anyone with enough money for a mansion want to live in NJ or LI ? Yuck.
this poll was supposed to be only for people from NY because when we get rich we either move to LI or NJ. sorry for the confusion i thought it was a good topic
nobody who is born in NYC and gets successful stays there

I am not sure why people not from New York can't have an opinion.
I once had a fantasy apartment on West Broadway and then Justin Timberlake moved into it and now I can't fantasize about it anymore.

Nobody who is born in NYC and gets successful stays here ?
Sorry but that's one of the weirdest claims on this forum yet.
All of those 5th Ave,Park Ave,Central Park West,Riverside Drive and and Riverdale 10 and up to 50 million dollar or more penthouses, apartments and mansions are filled with people not from NYC ?
