I don't do hockey but I'd be shocked if Rangers tickets are hard for you to obtain. Unless of course it's some kind of big game (ie: rivalry, a really good team/player coming to town, etc...). Just make sure they're home when you plan on visiting.
2. On the right side of the page when you click above, see MSG TicketExchange. These are season ticket holders selling their tickets in an authorized way. Sometimes their asking prices are ridiculous, but sometimes quite competitive.
Seeing a Rangers game at Madison Square Garden is a great experience. The Garden is old and tired, fans have a love-hate relationship with the place (the bathrooms suck) and the teams, but going to the Garden is just one of those quintessential NY experiences. Go for it! Rangers games are an experience!! Potvin sucks!
I played ice hockey for 10 years , and I loved it. I haven't been to the garden since '97 , but back in the mid/late 80's , early 90's used to go see about 3-4 Ranger games a year. Was a big fan back then. I have seen the Giants , Mets and Yankees (won't count the Islanders and Devils since not from NYC) ... win championships but nothing was like back in 94 when the Rangers won the cup ... I remember , at least here in Bay Ridge everyone went wild and partied all night ... unfortunately the team sold it's soul trading away the future to get the players it needed then and really hasn't been the same since. I remember the old blue seats up top in the garden ... lol ... those guys up there were fans!
Hello fellow Rangers Fan. I try and go to a few games every season as time and money allows. I love it! It's not all that difficult to get tickets for most games. You can usually get seats the same day at the box office. I also use stubhub a lot and have gotten some really good seats for reasonable prices.
