To me, visiting people home and interviewing people is fine with me because I am an Eligibility specialist, I see clients everyday and I can Somehow know who is lying and who is not plus how to handle clients. I'm not an elig spec I was selected but my ehire kept getting stuck n I spoke to da call desk whom also tried to help me but they too said it wasn't working so I have to keep trying which I did. I have to call dem back Monday said I might have to come in becuz they font know why it doesn't work for me. I'm looking forward to this position. Ray101 wen were u down there for the hiring pool? I was there Thursday n was selected. Rsy101 u stated that u too were selected? We're u selected before? Wats to be expected? Why does class start so late from orientation day. My orientation is 4/3 wats to be expected n training starts 4/22 but y so late wat will be done in the mean time I mean the time between orientation n wen da class start. I already work for da city
If you currently work for the City, you should have done it throught the ESS portal, it was slow but it worked. I was there on Wednesday. Basically, we are going to be doing training in a classroom, they would teach us about investigative tool and techniques, discuss our mission on the new SNAP program and more. I think they need more time to get everything ready because they will have 2 training classes going at the same time. This is a big initiative so they want to get things right, this is the first time they will have front end detection for SNAP (Food Stamps).

Yes it was slow n it also didn't work Ray101. Even da customer service reps couldn't get it but I have to call back on Monday she stated DHES gonna put me in system but I might have to come down there to da office n do it there but it would have to be after 330 becuz I work. How long is da training for this title and my orientation is on 4/3 when will they let us know when to resign from our current jobs? I'm so excited about it. On our orientation what kind of information will they be giving out also will there be more paperwork. I read ur above text but can u be more specific so I know what to expect?
The E-Hire pack was so annoying my husband spend ages filling it out and then it wouldn't submit, he went to work on the 22 and was able to do it from his City Computer...He was very aggravated a day before and when he tried to call the lady who is responsible for sending out Epacks he couldn't reach her..
As I told you, I did not receive the E- hire mail till March 22 about 2 pm. I called and left messages but I did not get any responses. Luckily, my smart supervisor told me to email her with our HRA mail. The lady replied and I got my E hire mail like I said 2 pm March22 and I must complete the E hire by the end of March 22. If you have questions, send email to the lady in charge.
