I need help I cant find a decent place with at least two bedrooms in NY for less than $1500 dollars a month. I cant save enough money to buy a house or condo and I work two jobs already. Any suggestions please.
I think you can find something for $1500 or less, but it will likely not be in a good location for access to the subway system. I think you need to give us more information, like where are your jobs and where are you living now.

Look in The Bronx : Riverdale,Kingsbridge,Van Cortlandt Village,Bedford Park,Mosholu Parkway,Pelham Parkway,Morris Park,Pelham Gardens,Pelham Bay and Throg's Neck areas.
Consider Jamaica Hills (i.e., the area north of Hillside Ave near 169th St), Queens Village, Rego Park, Elmhurst, East Elmhurst, and Flushing. If not in an apartment building, maybe in a private house. If you are willing to live in a majority black, middle class neighborhood -- not the 'hood -- you might find something in a private house in SE Queens (St. Albans, Cambria Heights, Laurelton, Springfield Gardens, Rosedale). These are two-fare zones, meaning you have to take a bus to the subway (although it's just one fare if you use a MetroCard). Also, just over the border of the NW Bronx ... you might consider Yonkers.
While "decent" is relative, I think these neighborhoods are pretty safe. Believe me, there are many that are much worse.

Would it be in a colored area for that kind of money or less?
Maybe it's time to think about New Jersey? I had a friend who lived right over on the Jersey side and had been paying around $600 for a tiny one-bedroom.
It is quite common for soldiers and even marines to get the crap beat out of them by black youths. I guess some of our "boys" might be tough behind their advanced military hardware but in the real world, outside of bombing mud brick houses, our soldiers are not as tough as our disadvantaged poor men of color walking the streets.
Are you feeling ok?
