an employer charge me to express mail a pay check to Atlanta? I am going to help my sick mother and have requested that my payroll check be express mailed to my mom's house in the Atlanta suburbs so i can get it and deposit it in the Bank Of America when I am there
i would assume that once they receive it from the payroll company they call a company to pick it up. would it be the USPO or some other express service and what would my company charge me?
i won't be here when i get paid on thursday they can always send it regular mail to moms house but i want it even quicker. i am flying out Tuesday i get paid Thursday
i then take it to bank Of America (my bank) which is down the road from mom and deposit it
Why not just give them a pre-paid Express Mail envelope and ask them to drop it in the mail? I can't imagine any employer not being willing to do that for you.
Wouldn't it have been easier to have your checks direct deposited in the first place? Probably too late to arrange for it this time (they usually require at least one pay period to test with a zero dollar transfer), but maybe they can set it up for your next check.
i never used this before. it's simply a paycheck in a sealed envelope. do i just buy an empty envelope and tell then where it is coming from and going to and they charge me accordingly? i don't have the check yet do i have to have it to buy the empty envelope?
express mail flat envelope rate is 17.40 for overnight service- or you could do 2-3 priority mail flat rate envelope for around $5.00.
You can go to the PO pick up the empty envelope you decide on and then print out postage using Click and Ship on the USPS website-be sure to post date the mailing label. You can post date up to 4 days on that site. Then give the envelope with the shipping label attached to your employer. Good luck and best wishes to your mom.
died and i'm too tired to set up the new one i got. if i don't go to the post office tomorrow i will just have someone send the paycheck to mom's house it will take a few days longer
the $13 includes postage?
