Okay, and? I'm looking to spend more than that, plus I'm probably going to have a roomate.

Apparently you didn't comprehend what I said. Roommate or not, it's going to be extremely expensive.

If you'd like, I'll give you the name of our building and you can get a two bedroom for starting at $4200 for about 900 square feet.

Please believe that I've been very aware of how expensive the city is for quite some time. That's not too bad, but I would prefer something a little bigger. 1300 square feet is perfect. And as long as I have a roommate, money isn't too much of a problem. Without a roommate, Manhattan is obviously not available for me.

I'm also interested in the Yonkers area for anyone with information on that.

Uhhh, under 50k a year?
HAHA Good luck?
After taxes you'll have less than 40k a year....over 2k a year for rent.
Food for me and my boyfriend is 400-500/month.

You're not logically thinking.

Lol, how about you just worry about giving me some information, and let me worry about my money. If you're going to help me, then help me, if not, thanks anyway.

It's quite evident that my income is not my only resource. Besides, 50K is after taxes. How dumb do you think I am?

How old are you?
I feel like I'm in second grade right now.

Maybe instead of being so hostile against someone who lives here and is telling you their opinion about the information you provided, you should give all information (since I had no clue you had outside income since your thread was based around 50k a year).

Hmmm...your income is not your only resource...do ya mean because you'll have a roomate, or something else (like some financial backup from a relative or something?)
