That area San Francisco, San Cristobal, The Capital and La Romana are hell. You must be Dominican or have Dominican relatives because San Francisco really isn't a hot tourist destination.

I wonder if anyone remembers the name of a former Dominican drug gang from the 1990's from Washington Heights, NYC, who ran cocaine operations in the East Village, as well. They had a long, religious-sounding name and were taken over by another Dominican gang at some point.
