I noticed a lot of people coughing on the subway today. My throat is actually feeling scratchy and I've had some excess phlegm for a few days now. Yesterday I all of a sudden felt wiped out and couldn't keep my eyes open.

Yep, seems to be. I notice a lot of people coughing and sneezing, and I feel also like I've been fighting something off.

All you can really do for a cold is be preventive. Wash your hands, try to stay away from people that are obviously sick etc. Also just take care of yourself so you have good immune system. Make sure you have all your vitamins. Cold medicine just alleviates symptoms, don't bother with the stuff.

I thought it might stem from the annual "Hot/Cold" battle when I do my supermarket shopping every few days. I've made a conscious effort this year to wear a heavier shirt when I go into the supermarket.
