Glad to hear letters are going out again, list # 299x , did my pre orientation last summer, I've heard all we have to redo is the drug test, do we still get a new pre orientation letter and report the same as last year? Good luck to all who've been waiting patiently almost 6 long years, hopefully this is finally it
They usually call down 75 people for pre-orientation per day. However last year they told us that out of 75 only an avg of 53 people show up. Also it's 3 to 1 ratio. So if they need 300 people they will send out 900 letter for pre-orientation. Not sure if this year is the same of not but whoever goes on July 15 keep us posted. Good luck to everyone
Any ideas if its going to be August/September classes or September/October? I booked a vegas trip months ago for my birthday, paid for in full, non refundable in early sept, I would skip it if I make a September class but it sucks being beat on the money, I'm 34x list numbers away from the last appointment, not sure if I would make 1st or 2nd class.
It depends on how many people have reinstated there list number and such.. In final processing the employees are more than willing to accommodate you as long as you have proof.. They won't be able to tell you what class your in basically they go in order to fill the class whomever is ready they take first.. The second class usually have a lot that didn't get letters or had medical issues or didn't answer there phone when they called..
When will the official dsny announcement come out? With all the details of class number and size
