Quinn, only because I have an even greater disdain for the rest of them.

This is an illegal thread and illegal poll without Mayor Bloomberg's name in it.

The mayoral seat is up for grabs, I will probably vote this time, I hated Bloomberg so much, if Quinn gets nominated, runs and win, I will leave the city. So far I'm happy to see Bloomberg go.

I like Bloomberg and what his administration has done for this city. We have definitely gone a long way in the last decade. I would vote for him again if he ran.

You tell me how many cities have seen their most blighted areas transform with bike lanes, public plazas, more trees and in many cases innovative development (Via Verde). How about PlaNYC? Atlantic/Hudson Yards? WTC? Brooklyn Bridge Park? Highbridge restoration? Increased tech desirability? Longest life expectancy? Green streets? Population growth? SBS (Hey, it's a start)? Bike share coming in May? Luxury condo boom? Affordable housing boom (can't keep pace with demand though for both types)? Revitalization of downtown after 9/11? 2003 blackout? Sean Bell? Sandy? Bronx, state's first and only LEED certified neighborhood in Melrose? Increased diversity? Increased tourism? Record setting development citywide?

There will be haters but Bloomberg did a damn good job.

I will probably go for Quinn due to a Bloomberg endorsement and pro development stance.

Pretty sure Stringer isn't running. It would have been between him and Quinn for me. Would have leaned for him slightly if he was.

I can definitely say I will NOT vote for Ray Kelly though.

I don't think anyone knows enough about these candidates' platforms for Mayor to determine which you are likely to vote for. At this point it is just name recognition, which does not mean alot.

I can only say who I would NEVER vote for, and that's Raymond Kelly. And the way he has conducted this police force, I am fairly confident he would not run because the neighborhoods across the city he has victimized for 10+ years will snowball into a larger anti-Ray Kelly campaign. He will not want to drag his "good name" through the mud in a Mayoral run and put everything at risk. And what am I referring to? Cashing out, and sitting high on the hog with a fat pension, selling books, doing conferences across the country, etc. That won't happen if he gets alot of bad press and his name dragged through the mud.

So it really is too early to know or say anything about any of these candidates. Let's hear their platforms, how they present themselves, etc. I can say that Christine Quinn has been visiting the Southern Bronx several times over the last 2 weeks....
