It's amazing the crazy things that go on in the subway, And how people make such foolish mistakes like the gentleman who was killed.

I've had to really do #1 a couple of times while being stuck on the train. Fortunately not #2. If your near 34th or Grand Central, get out and use the bathroom folks. Othewise I hope you can find a Starbucks or a big store.

Perhaps a silly question, but why don't all these people use the restrooms before getting on the train (meaning before they enter the subway system)?

Two reasons:

1) Common sense is uncommon.
2) When Mother Nature calls, she's not going to leave a voice mail or text message. You will be taking that call.

I found this line kinda funny:

A homeless man at the station fell onto the tracks and suffered a broken pelvis and injured buttocks,

From this article: Man Killed By Subway In Harlem Station - NY1.com

As the saying goes, **** happens.

Except when someone is sick/ill, one should be able to hold off on mother nature for the duration of subway ride.

I read one report that said the two men had been fighting earlier. But that made so little sense to me that I waited for it to be confirmed, which it wasn't.

I guess the net result will inevitably be more people crapping and pyssing IN the cars and on the platforms. Oh joy!

I once had a sudden attack of diarrhea apparently from some bad resturant food so bad that I thought I was going to DIE while waiting for the PATH train and trying to hold it in. Cramps every 15 seconds or so that I think HAD to be worse than childbirth. I was successful in getting home ...BARELY but the pain was nearly unendurable. After that trip I was convinced I could deal with pretty much anything.

I guess this incident gives a new meaning to the phrase: Dying to take a ****. (Note, somebody else came up with that, but I figured I'd share it with you guys).
