This wasn't an appointment interview. On top of the letter it said "this is not an appointment". And kidkid me and over 35 people were told to go home. Rumors was that they was just trying to fill up the next academy. Let me remind you guys, i took over 7 exams 90s^ the women who actually spoke to me a supervisor for TEA 1 had told me you better had taking more exams then this. I dont know why she said that but, she was asking me about my major in college which i said criminal justice, and she literally said your going to get hired. Right when i was filling out the paper work, the worker there of 1pp had said you were strongly considered but was not selected. She even gave me a paper stating i was not selected but can be in the future if the want to. Why did this happen i do not know they said they don't have to tell me why, so i asked my God father who is a captain in the FBI and he said they did the 3 in 1 rule. Meaning if they called 100 peoplle they will only take like every 3rd person. It is legal and they are not allowed to tell you this. After i got this news i went to another supervisor and he told me this is ridiculous you were qualified as far as my resume and drivers license. But it was not in his reach but the city's. I wish i can give you guys more info but seriously this is all i was told. I feel a bit down but i have to keep my faith. My list number for school safety is 48 and have way more exams to give me my list number. BTW my brother who was called with me and had a 74 on the test( he did not get the letter) had told me besides me and the 30 other people 10 people left after that totaling 46 people. He said there were peple like number 17 that was sent home for no reason. Seriously??? i truly dont respect this

NO! i was in business attire, i spent over 159 dollars on a suit and tie and shoes. clean shaved and short hair, and i am only 21. clean drivers license no criminal record and a college degree in criminal justice studies ( LaGuardia Community College)
Maybe they had missed a previous list of candidates off a list and decided they made an error. This is very possible and makes sense since your still on the list.
