The greatest city in the world keeps getting better.
Hold the phone... So you're telling me a pharmacy, a phone store and a fast food restaurant are expanding to Bed-stuy... Well that seals it then... Gentrification is definitely in full effect over there...

LoLz
Come on now, everyone knows that gentrification is measured by an increased amount of the following:
1) White people pushing baby strollers OR black people carrying babies in those cross body baby slings
2) Expensive soft cheese in the grocery store
3) Coffee shops with wifi
4) Craft beer in the bodega
5) New condos
6) Specialty food establishments that [only] sell things like vegan baked goods, kolaches, mini cupcakes, crapes, organic frozen yoghurt, gourmet candy
7) Wine stores (with no bulletproof glass of course)
8) People, who are not delivery guys, riding bikes
9) Restaurants that serve weekend brunch
10) Double parked Fresh Direct trucks
Edit: BTW, all of those things can be found in parts of Bed Stuy
This article was really dumb..I mean adding a Walgreens and McDonald's is driving the "gentrification" in Bed-Stuy? Watch out..I heard a new Pathmark Supermarket will be opening in Harlem soon..which basically means it is 100% gentrified!
Ignore the article and this thread...total waste of time.
