I don't have a magic mirror or Tarot cards. But from day one Brownsville has been a sad chapter in the history of mankind.

It's already happening, good transportation, even a LIRR station nearby. The Bway Junction hub will be the true start and there are plans to revamp it 'for the neighborhood'. Um, yes, not for the people there currently.

They've started getting off at Broadway ENY. Confirmed sighting about 3 weeks ago.

They go to North Bronx, South East Brooklyn, and certain parts of Queens. They do go to Long Island to.

You will start to see them shift into areas like Canarse, Flatlands, and southern parts of ENY in Brooklyn. I also heard that some are moving to areas like Springfield gardens in Queens.

Mostly just transferring to the L or J to head back to Williamsburg or Bushwick, maybe? Not actually leaving the station to jump on a local bus.

Well in my instance, the gentry got off at Broadway Junction on the J train. Who knows what their final destination was - but I know when I was a kid the gentry did not use that stop. Lol.

^^^ This. @ seventh, trust me, I'm in that area and I've yet to see any white folks walk out of the Broadway Junction stop yet unless they were cops or teachers. There's a community center not too far from that stop where some of the guys from my church play ball and that area still sucks

Two words for this thread: De blasio
Once public safety is in jeopardy, gentrification hits a huge setback. De blasio's agenda is a threat to public safety and that will have a ripple effect.

I know, I'm there often. But they get off at Ralph Avenue and Rockaway Avenue on the C train too. And that area still sucks.
