Situation: I signed a sublease agreement with a tenant for the months of May -> August. Recently, our apartment became reinfested with bedbugs. I was not made aware that there had been three infestations prior to this event. The LL has treated every time, however, this time the apartment has not been treated yet. I moved out on June 28th, giving notice that I would not live there any longer. The LL has my security deposit and that is all. I signed the form with only the tenants signature and not the LL's. I suffered from countless bites (no photos taken to document, unfortunately). Ultimately, I was not informed of past infestations, could not continue living in an infested room (as it was the worst, having found multiple bugs on the pillows - again not documented with photos).
Questions:
1. Legally, what am I obligated to fulfill in rent?
2. Is it possible to pay on the month of July by offering the LL to keep my security deposit?
3. Since I have moved out, should I anticipate any legal repercussions?
