They can't just arrest you, There has to be intent that you are offering sex or you are agreeing to pay for it. Its been argued that undercover police posing as prostitutes is entrapment. Creating a situation that the person did not intend to have tgat night. Much prostitution is offered online in this age as opposed to a street corner. Bottom line : Don't pay for any dates. And don't hang with Charlie Sheen.
Brooklyn has been in need of "crackdown"" on prostitution since days of Foxy Den strip club on 3rd Avenue in Sunset Park. Clearing those streets of pimps, prostitutes, and porn video shops paved way for positive things like Cotsco in neighborhood. This is proof there is hope for cleaning "tracks" set up in Bronx.
To keep it simple, starting around maybe '06, '07, transsexuals suddenly
appeared along Bushwick Ave. How and why is still a mystery. After a while, the
local hooligans tried to intimidate them and run them out of the area but the
trannies ended up forming a few affiliated gangs of their own, confronted their
aggressors, and actually chased not only the so-called bloods, but also the
so-called crips (that basically stayed out of the issue, thinking the so-called
bloods would do away with the invaders) out of the area. I guess no one wants to
get knocked out by a dude with a vaj, or worse -- the inverse. This went on a
lot in from '07 to '09.
Transsexuals now run prostitution rings on their hard won territory along the eastern Bushwick/Stuy border.
i dont get why ppl hate prostitutes. i think it stems from jealousy because prostitutes make MAD money. prostitutes get to get they nails done, get shoes and all kinds of stuff while most ppl work they $12 an hour job.
