I think that most people just want an overall reduction of violent crime. And since most violent crime in NYC happen to be black on black, I'd say that most of us would still care. All it does is remove the hate crime element from the equation.
But these Black kids are Knocking out people for fun and will target you because of your color of the skin. So good luck walking around with a smile on your face and just walk towards are group of Black kids then. See if they see you as a 'human being' and not just some White person that they want to Knock Out. Go for it.

Y'all are perpetuating the idea that minorities want to "kill whitey" for fun. Muggers target who they perceive as an easy prey, first and foremost, white or not. And they certainly won't take the risk to endanger themselves.
If a 6'2 dude in his 30s walk in one of these areas where they practice knockout, white or not I bet you there is very small chances that anybody touches him. When you are pus*y enough to sucker punch somebody from behind you probably won't take the risk to f*ck with somebody who could retaliate.
Btw I visited some of the roughest parts of NYC, e.g. Ocean Hill/Brownsville, where you barely see a white person, and none of these kids that I passed by even gave a weird look, and I'm not a big guy. I guess your body language matters too.
I'm not naive, of course there are some dumb people that are racist, but why should that affect my judgement ? I'm grown enough to go wherever I want, whenever I want. If I want to walk around Crown Heights at night, I'll do it, using extra caution, but I won't fall into that psychosis. This kind of bullsh*t rarely last, that knockout trend may even be over by now.

Especially not economically for the neighborhoods where these incidents are taking place. So if it is happening in a black neighborhood, unfortunately it is the other black people in the neighborhood that may have businesses (or other interests) will see the largest negative effect over the long term if the game is not eradicated. Because frankly, people of all races will just start to simply avoid these areas out of safety.
One can also relate this to the KKK gang activities back how many years ago, but this is 2013 going into 2014 soon, do we still have to live with barbarianism here in NY?

Unlike most of y'all, when I walk down the street I don't see a black person or a white person or an asian person, I see human beings. I'm not gonna adjust my behavior according to someone's skin color. The skin color factor is irrelevant to me, I wasn't raised like that.

Blacks see whites as easy prey now because blacks have made white people feel guilty of what their ancestors did x years ago. White people have been forced to believe - through the media and society - that they should sit back and take any shyt that blacks give them because they deserve it.
