I have huge windows that face another building with equally huge windows and on occasion I see someone naked or nearly naked. It's not a big deal.

I think people in NYC are particularly sensitive to a lack of clothing. If a guy walks around without a shirt and he's not a biker or jogging people get skeezed out.

It's legal for women to walk around topless in NYC but majority don't do it

What is up with persons no longer hanging drapes or putting up curtains/blinds? Especially those in all the new glass "fish bowl" buildings. Surely they must know every single aspect of their lives can be seen by God and the world.

You can see everything from domestic abuse to light or hardcore porn just by walking down Manhattan streets.

In Austin, people actually do it. There was this indigent girl sitting on a bench outside of my building with the tatas hanging out. Unfortunately, we were with clients when we saw her

Sorry nightcrawler, that was in Jersey City. Now all I see are saggy old people in pajamas.

First week I was here a fat middle aged woman went to open her window naked...full frontal shot. Alas, that image will be burned into my retinas 'til the day I die. I put sheers up REAL fast after that.

I do feel your pain, I know you were traumatized, as I would have been too.

It's usually the non attractive segment of the population that have an overly natural attitude to the naked human body and its exit functions. Just visit any nude beach. The same nudists leave the bathroom door open while taking care of business and forgets to flush.

I too priced 135 inch custom made blind$$$...NEVER gonna happen. Besides, keeping blinds clean is the most tedious chore...and RISKY: ever get a blind cut?
So no more Venetian blinds for me.
I did 20 some years with 96 inchers and when I moved out I said NEVER AGAIN.

It's not that, it's just that most people are ugly. They're much easier to ignore when they're covered up though.
