City Council has overwhelmingly approved plans to transform the old Kingsbridge Armory into a massive ice center.

My question is, What the hell for? Of all things to bring to The Bronx, an ice rink?

So that shootings don't happen at the Bryant skating rink again? Bryant Park skating rink shooting leaves two injured, including 14-year-old avid skater; shooter at large - NY Daily News

Yes, that was mean. All poor taste jokes aside, it gives the youth something healthy to do, hopefully they make use of it and stay out of trouble.

Monte is already building a new 11 story 93,000 sq ft one stop facility in Riverdale -that's good enough for now and the homeless shelter you are talking about was a former hospice that was converted into a shelter for women & their kids. 2751 GCC.
